What are wigs for me?Hi! My name is Oana and I'm from Bucharest, Romania. I'm the proud mother of two smart boys. After years of searching a treatment for my hair loss, wigs are the best medicine for my soul. Not only they give me the hair I've been dreaming of my entire life, but they also give me a boost of confidence and the chance for a better life. Now I can be a blonde, a redhead or a brunette, depending on my mood or outfit, and wear my hair up or down, in a ponytail or messy bun. I'm a chameleon and I love it! I love wigs and the freedom they give me. I know there are so many other options when it comes to making the hair fuller. I tried some of them. But for me wigs are the easiest way. I would love to share my joy with other women that struggle from alopecia.

How do I measure my head? What's my wig size? You will need a measuring tape. 1. Circumference: Starting in the middle of the hairline, go down to the sides, behind the ears, down to the nape of your neck and come back around up behind the ear and up in the middle - this will be your circumference. 2. Front to back: Another important measurement is from front to back: starting from the center of your hairline going back to the nape. Your wig should be 1/2 -1 inch bigger than your front to back size. This prevents your wig from slipping back. 3. Ear to ear: from one ear over the top to the other.

How do I wash my humain hair wigs? You should wash your human hair wigs in cold water using sulfate-free shampoo. Avoid rubbing the hair or the lace. When it is wet the hair is the most fragile. After rinsing the shampoo, remove the excess water and apply a conditioner or mask from the middle to the ends. Do not apply on lace or knots, avoid the top part as much as possible. Rinse off the conditioner/ mask, remove the excess water with a towel and let it dry on a wig stand. Now it is preferable to brush your hair starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top. I prefer using Biolage products and K18 leave in mask.

How to take care of my humain hair wigs? (Care instructions)Depending on how often you wear your human hair wig and how well you take care of it, it can last between 6 months and 2 years. The wig needs to be very gently brushed before and after every wear, starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top. The lace top area needs more attention, especially in the case of wigs with bleached knots. Do not pull the hair and make sure you don't brush too close to the lace so as not to rip it. Wigs should be taken off at the end of the day. It is not recommended to sleep with your wig on because this can shorten its life. The hair from wigs need to be constantly hydrated with hair serums and oils. Apply these products from the mids to the ends, avoiding the lace and knots because it can cause shedding. You should wash your wig as rarely as possible. Washing too frequently can make the color fade faster and the hair to become dry and brittle. In order to delay the wash, you need to wear the wig on clean hair, avoid touching the hair with your hands, avoid sweating when wearing the wig and sleeping in it. The wigs needs to be washed when the hair feels dirty, there is product build-up, it tangles easily, etc. It is best to let the wigs air dry, not to use a blow drier. It is recommended to blow dry the lace only on low temperature. If left wet, it can stretch and you may not want that. It is also not recommended to let your wig dry on a wig block that is the same size or larger that your wig. That can also stretch it. Before styling your wig, use a heat protectant, especially on the ends. Avoid exposing the wig to direct sunlight. The sun can fade the color and damage the hair.
